Although it is not necessary to peel the carrots, because most juicers automatically eject skin and pulp, you can if you want to. The apple will slightly thicken the juice’s structure, the orange will enhance its flavor, and the lemon juice will prevent the juice’s color from darkening due to oxidation.

Manual Or Electric – Think about whether you want to have a manual juicer or an electric carrot extractor. The first ones do require some force but are easy to use, provide great results, and are generally cheaper. The later ones may be slightly pricier but they require minimal effort input and provide great results in a short time.

Centrifugal Vs. Masticating – If you opt for an electric juicer, the next choice you need to make is whether you want a centrifugal or a masticating juicer. Both have their pros and cons.
