Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso Latte

Yields2 ServingsPrep Time10 minsTotal Time15 mins

Brown Sugar Syrup
4 tbsp lightly packed brown sugar
 6 tbsp water
 1 tsp vanila extract
 ½ tsp ground cinamon
Lattes
 2 fl oz espresso
oat milk (use as much as you need to fill the cup up completely)
2 glases filled with ice cubes half way
a cocktail shaker (or a mason jar) filled with ice cubes
1

Combine all the syrup ingredients in a stovetop pot and place it atop a direct heat source. Whisk all the ingredients to ensure that they are properly combined. Once you see that the syrup is starting to simmer lower the heat down and leave the pot on for an additional 3 to 5 minutes. Keep whisking the syrup until all the sugar has dissolved and the syrup has a thickened consistency. At this point, you want to remove the syrup from the heat and set it aside to cool down.

2

Now, brew a double shot of espresso using your espresso machine. If you do not have one you can opt for a 1/2 cup of strong coffee.

3

Add espresso, 3 tbsp of the syrup you just made, and a few ice cubes into the shaker and shake vigorously for about 1 to 2 minutes. If you do not have a shaker, a mason jar will do just fine.

Add some more ice to each glass. Divide the espresso mixture between the glasses. Add oat milk to top it up. Stir and enjoy!

4

Now, fill 2 glasses with ice cubes halfway up, divide the espresso brew in half, and pour the drink directly over the ice. Add oat milk into the cups to the top, stir, and enjoy your brew.
